When soldiers are stationed overseas, they are forced to watch the AFN (American Forces Network), which is full of crappy homemade PSAs. One of their long running “series” of PSAs involves an itty bitty mouse named Squeakers and a devious computer-hacking surveillance cat who teach us about the importance of secrecy. (There’s also a dog and a rabbit here and there, but who’s counting?) It must be great to be stuck defending your country in some godforsaken 110-degree hole and have to spend your free time watching Squeakers try and outsmart a cat. (I guess you could read a book, but that’s kind of boring.) If we really want to support the troops, maybe we could give them some decent programming.

This one kind of threw me for a loop because in all the previous PSAs, Squeakers the mouse was the good guy and the Cat (who’s clearly a member of Cat Hacker Central) was the bad guy. But in the PSA the tables have turned and Squeakers is the suspicious character. Way to keep us on our toes, military!

Angelina Jolie is now in therapy for body-image issues and depression almost three months after the birth of her twins. Husband Brad Pitt forced her into therapy due to her dangerous depression.

“Angelina didn’t want to accept the fact that she was struggling after the twins were born and was really resistant to Brad’s pleas for her to get help,” an insider tells Star. “But she finally agreed.”

“She still thinks she’s fat,” says a source. “She barely touches the food that is brought to her. After a few bites she’ll say, ‘Take it away; I’m not hungry.’ Brad is trying to get her to eat more, but she has no appetite. She clearly has a problem with her self-image. Sarah Plain has been linked to a man who she apparently had an affair with - and the man is her husband’s ex-business partner!

They were both married at the time. And according to reports, three members of Hanson’s family have already sworn - one by affidavit - that Palin and Hanson were having an extramarital affair!

Hanson owned a snowmobile dealership along with Palin’s hubby, Todd, who got rid of the partnership after hearing stories about the affair, which allegedly took place back in 1996.

And, despite denials from Palin and Hanson, Jim Burdett, a Hanson family insider, has opened up about the family’s secret and even passed a rigorous polygraph test in an effort to reveal the truth - that the affair did take place.

Burdett says, “I’ve known about Brad having had an affair for a long time, but it wasn’t until just recently that I learned his affair was with Sarah Palin. Sarah was elected mayor of Wasilla, Brad became a city council member in the nearby town of Palmer, and they started an affair. Todd found out about the affair and was so mad he broke up their partnership at the snowmobile dealership.”

Another source, who’s remaining anonymous but has given a sworn affidavit as well, is saying, “Todd was away on business a lot and Sarah felt lonely. Brad was a good listener, and Sarah talked to him at length. Eventually, she real­ized she was falling in love with him. When Todd got back from one of his trips, Sarah told him that she had begun to have feelings for Brad.”

A tire blowout may have caused the Learjet 60 carrying Travis Barker, DJ AM and four others to crash upon takeoff just after midnight Friday in Columbia, S.C., officials said Sunday.

Travis Barker and DJ AM are expeced to recover, though they were listed as critical on Saturday night. They are now listed as critical but stable by hospital officials.

A source has told how Britney was dating the football star while at school, and mother Lynne encouraged the relationship because she thought it would make her more popular.

But Britney spent a lot of time at the boy’s house, where she lost her virginity and mother Lynne admitted later regretting allowing her daughter to date such an older boy.

But when Britney began dating fellow ex-Disney club member Justin Timberlake, Lynne allowed them to spend the night together in Britney’s room. Lynne was said to be sure the teenagers were having sex.

But because she thought Britney was in love and that Justin was good for her she didn’t raise any objections.

Lynne’s book also reveals that she knew Britney, then 15, was experimenting with drugs when she went to Los Angeles to record her breakthrough album ‘Baby One More Time’.

Lynne thought she was going through the typical teenage problems, but they seemed to be more than that, when the singer was allegedly caught boarding a private plane aged 16, cocaine and marijuana was found in her bag.

Britney was caught by her mother drinking alcohol as young as 13. But laid-back Lynne reportedly didn’t mind her children drinking as long as she was there.

But she appeared to have little control over her daughter’s party lifestyle, and by the age of 16, Britney was frequenting bars in New Orleans with her brother Bryan, who is five years older than her.

In the book, Lynne expresses how much she regrets handing over control of Britney’s career to managers and allowing her daughter to be promoted to as a sex object in raunchy videos at such a young age.

Apparently, Britney’s mother was told that if the singer was going to compete with sexier and older stars like Mariah Carey , ’she needed to be marketed more like a “Lolita”‘

A source said: ‘Lynne’s book does a lot of soul-searching on the mistakes she made raising Britney and Jamie Lynn.

But she appeared to have little control over her daughter’s party lifestyle, and by the age of 16, Britney was frequenting bars in New Orleans with her brother Bryan, who is five years older than her.

In the book, Lynne expresses how much she regrets handing over control of Britney’s career to managers and allowing her daughter to be promoted to as a sex object in raunchy videos at such a young age.
